Dear esteemed readers,
Given the subject matter of yesterday's live show, I thought this brief afterward would suffice.
The general consensus seems to be that Dr. Boyce had been carrying a torch for Dr. Alicia from way back in the day; that she curved him, spun the block after her marriage ended to a man who comes a lot closer to Jaxn than Boyce physically, etc.; and that she settled for him in her latter years.
I've tried very hard to be fair and objective about the whole thing, but I gotta tell ya, Boyce's own behavior, Dr. Alicia's actions prior to these Jaxn confessions, and now with the latter being put squarely on the table, I have to admit that there's definitely a there, there. Despite all the flowery talk to the contrary, the truth of the matter is that women can and often do marry and even have sex for reasons that have little to do with love. And no, I don't think Dr. Alicia loves Dr. Boyce. Or if she does, it's more along the lines of a brother than a lover.
Nor do I think Dr. Alicia respects Dr. Boyce, which and I freely admit to my own biases here, is a far sight more important. I honestly do think that Dr. Alicia married Dr. Boyce because he was among if not only very real option left on the table at this point in her life.
Which explains how and why she had and continues to have, such a visceral reaction to Kevin. Kevin highlighted the very real truth about the role that age plays for the men who have it all - what I liked to call the "Masters of the Universe" brothers. Kevin represented that, and he told the ladies outright that women like Dr. Alicia - who I would consider to be attractive despite her more mature years, and clearly accomplished, would be pretty much a nonstarter for brothers Kevin represents as an avatar. As others have observed recently, it's very hard for many Black women - and mind you, we're talking about the Dr. Alicias of the world here - to take that brothers like Kevin don't want them at this stage of the game out on the global mating market.
And while I spoke on the matter publicly yesterday, the more I think about all this, the more I'm convinced that the reason why Dr. Boyce has a bug up his rear end about Kevin is because, deep down, he knows what Kevin said was true as well; and why he has a mad on about me is because he knows what I said was true, too.
(Dr. Boyce all but mentioned my name recently in responding to the sentiment being expressed in the Black Manosphere of "not wanting to be the cleanup man", i.e., not wanting to be a stepdad to another man's kids. Oshay Duke Jackson did an excellent summation here: )
The reader will kindly recall that I was supposedly going to have a sit down with Dr. Boyce, I think it was late last year or early this year? It never happened of course, despite assurances from his people that it would happen. By now, I have accepted that my interlocutors will never have an actual sit down where the facts, evidence, data, research, etc., will be calmly and dispassionately discussed about the state of things between Black men and Black women, because as others have by now rightly observed about me recently regarding Ace Metaphor & Co., I would make them all look a fool in a videotaped, roundtable discussion. Dr. Boyce may indeed have a Ph.D over me, but the intellectual bloodletting would be the same.
I was sent the following video where comedian Corey Holcomb weighs in on the matter, and I have to say that what he observed about Dr. Boyce is steel on target:
The main reason why I developed the idea of the Non-Select Guy for "The Book of Obsidian: A Manual for the 21st Century Black American Gentleman" is precisely because of what Holcomb says in the above video: Because guys like Dr. Boyce are in denial. Instead of fully embracing who he is and what he is and making smart decisions from there, he has chosen to make an utter fool out of himself.
According to this very credible source, as of 2021 Dr. Boyce had an estimated net worth of $7M USD:
Honestly, if I were him and had only half as much money, I would be a Passport Bro with the quickness. I would go where my short stature becomes a nonfactor (Dr. Boyce and I are the same height at 5'7", which is the average height of men worldwide). I would get with Black women from Brazil, Colombia, Dominican Republic, hell, even Puerto Rico, if not from Africa itself. I would do what Auston Holleman did and link up with Oshay Duke Jackson and date a whole bunch of African cuties, paying them both to be my guides. Even if the ladies I dated were closer to my own age (and while Dr. Boyce is actually several years YOUNGER than me, I actually LOOK BETTER than he does - Red Pill Living for the win!), they would be a far sight more attractive than the average 40-something Black woman here in the States, even those who are highly educated/accomplished, AND they would be much more likely to get on my program, as they would know the assignment to respect me, support me and to always make me look good in public. I would divide my time between the USA and elsewhere in the world, where I would hire on professionals in the areas of martial arts and fitness, style and image, RED PILL THINKING, and do the damned thing. I would lose roughly 30 lbs, get more definition in my face to emphasize my jawline and chin, do something with that scraggly goatee, learn about three martial arts well, have foreign offshore investments of varying kinds, and help da communitah from afar in the form of nonprofits, which not only looks good but also does wonders for one's taxes. I would get a serious style and fashion makeover, having ALL my suits bespoke, wear cooler glasses and shades, get a Chick Magnet Ride like a tricked out Lambo or McLaren, completely overhaul my podcasting studio, and hire on a production and social media team to rival Ace's. In short, I would transform myself into a Badass Brother Businessman With a Ph.D. And I would never look back to a lady who curved me back in the day to be with. I don't have anything close to even a fraction of the money Dr. Boyce has right now, and I wouldn't do that.
Like Corey Holcomb says, I truly do feel sorry for Dr. Boyce at this point. Wow.
Just...wow...
